Riverside Park's dog area is not an official dog park. Instead the city has provided a dog-friendly area adjacent to its multipurpose field in the rear of the complex where people can walk their pets. The park has doggie bags and receptacles for waste as well as nearby faucets at the picnic pavilions. All dogs are supposed to be on leashes but owners sometimes let there dogs off-leash when there are no children around.
