Friday's Presidential Debate
Should the debates go on!?!?!?!?!? President Bush addressed the nation last night concerning the economic crisis the country is in now and the future of our country.
Presidential candidate John McCain has decided to suspend his campaign and help work on the bail out of large financial firms. McCain has also called to postpone the presidential debates this coming Friday. Senator Obama feels that the debates should go on. What do you think?
What others are saying
- Postpone DebatesObama would rather continue his celebrity appearance on TV to feed his ego than do what is best for the country..he is a ME FIRST if I have ever witnessed one. He has an obligation as a Senator to be part of the solution instead of a distraction for personal gain. He is totally convinced that after campaigning for 19 months and neglecting the duties he was elected to do as a senator, that his conquest for the presidency is more important than letting a nation crumble in financial ruin. He may win the election but will never be a leader as he would rather straddle the fence than make a decision that may affect his future political gain. When he shows up in Washington it will be the same..I vote "present". In a crisis, he would be useless but you can bet he would have excuses upon excuses, none of which would be personal responsibility for his inability to lead. I hope America pays attention to how he is handling this "at home crisis" and sees this candidate for the presidency for the phony "take charge leader" he claims he will be!
