4:13AM Skid send Doc a text saying they're at the hospital.
4:30AM Skid says they're in triage.
5:08AM Text: "It's happening, it's really happening."
Yep...he's scared to death!
6:55AM Alright, so I'm sitting in the womens triage at Winnie Palmer Hospital. I've been a good husband for the past two hours, but I think it's time to let Steph's mother listen to her moans from the contractions. The both of them are in the waiting room. We're waiting for a birthing room. Sadly, only one person can be with Steph right now. That's why Steph's mother is with her now. We're tag-teaming spending time with her.
It's gonna be a long day.
7:10AM Either the contractions Steph is having are VERY painful, or she's turning into a Werewolf. I can hear her across the hall. It is October.
8:30AM Skid called in to say they are on their way to a birthing room. Steph had a monster contraction while we were on the phone with Skid. YIKES!
8:47AM Contractions have subsided, Now Steph is filling out paperwork. Skid wants a beer. Now.
Doc is telling Skid so much junk...has the poor man terrified! LOL!
8:58AM Yes. Steph will have an epidual. They did attend Lamaze classes...not sure if its working though.
10:40AM Man, the epidural is awesome!!! Her mood has certainly changed. She's so drugged out, it's like she's at a Grateful Dead concert.
Maybe the can shoot me up with an epidural too?
