Why does Doc say Skid has poor parenting skills?
Well Skid has been reading a book to little Matilda and Doc has a problem with this crime fighting character! Walter the Farting Dog is a series of children's books by William Kotzwinkle and Glenn Murray, and illustrated by Audrey Colman. All the books in the series star Walter and his many flatulent adventures. The original Walter story is now available in more than a dozen languages, including French, Spanish, Dutch, Icelandic, Norwegian, Korean, Japanese, and Latin.
Doc has s an issue with farting as a tool to stop crime! He thinks that you shouldn't teach a kid that farting is ok, especially in public.

- The Farting DogIt is not a book I would read to my children but then I don't think telling stories about farting is that funny unlike some male people I know. Like my husband and grandkids.
Hopefully he is reading nicer stories to Matilda. Like nursery rhymnes and teaching her the ABC's and numbers.
