Topic: Doc sides with Letterman...Do you?
With the news about David Letterman having sexual relations with some of his female co-workers it's brought up some important questions... Was Letterman justified in having relations with his co-workers? Doc seems to think that because the females consented to it and that it wasn't a case where their jobs were in jeopardy.
Grace disagrees with Doc...she says that David should have had more respect for his own relationship with his now wife and for women in general, and not have taken advantage of the situation because he was the boss.

What others are saying
- 75-25 on the poll, it is still a man's world? In my youth I would have sided with David (Doc a well). In this case though the mere fact he was in a COMMITTED relationship with a woman, who I believe was living under his roof; tells me he probably should not have stepped out of bounds. Today I hold the 'sanctity' of commitment in relationships very precious. As my Daddy once told me 'never dump where you intend to eat'. In this case laying it down with another woman in the workplace could be construed as volatile if things go south. We all know how people react when relationships sour. And when you are the 'boss' over others, it can create incredible strain on the workplace. I say it is always better to walk away friends than depart as enemies, and that is especially true when love and/or sex gets in the way between two people. Dave used poor judgment, but I can relate to it. I think I might have a couple times in the past. I'm not sure because there is a 25 year period I lived in a stupor. Anyway, continue to hold your own Grace, don't let Doc step on you. Make him want to run away from you instead. He likes the chase. Have a great evening and a wonderful Friday show. See ya!
