CNN is reporting that Michael Jackson's body will return to Neverland Ranch on Thursday, which will be open Friday for a public viewing.

According to TMZ, a 30 car motorcade is expected to accompany Jackson's body. It isn't known whether he will be buried at the Santa Barbara mansion, which Jackson purchased in 1987 but abandoned after being acquitted on child molestation charges in 2005. A private service is expected to take place Sunday. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Gary, Indiana mayor Rudy Clay says he has asked the family to bury the singer in Gary, Jackson's hometown. The city is also planning a memorial service, scheduled for July 10th at U.S. Steel Works ballpark. Yesterday, fans turned out at New York's Apollo theater to pay tribute to the singer. The event, featuring a eulogy by Rev. Al Sharpton, was scheduled to begin at 2 pm, but hundreds of fans began lining up earlier that morning.

One person who won't be attending Jackson's funeral is good friend and producer Quincy Jones. "I won't go to any more funerals as long as I live," he tells Entertainment Tonight. "I can't handle it."
