POTTER TAKES THE MIDNIGHT CROWN!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince got off to a great start at the box office.

The film made $22 million from midnight screenings Tuesday, earning it the title of best midnight gross of all time. The film surpassed last summer's hit The Dark Knight, which earned $18 mil and Star Wars: Episode II - Revenge of the Sith, which earned $17 mil.
