ROWE DENIES CLAIMS OF A PAYOFF!
Earlier this week it was reported that Debbie Rowe made a deal with Katherine Jackson regarding custody of her two children with Michael Jackson, Prince Michael and Paris Michael. Rowe allegedly agreed to give up rights to the kids as long as Joe had nothing to do with raising them. Well, that's a big lie. The real reason Rowe decided not to fight for the children is because she was paid off. According to the New York Post, Katherine paid Debbie $4 million to stay away from the kids, the third time the former nurse has squeezed money out of the Jackson clan. "It's one final payday," said a Jackson insider. "They felt it was like a ransom-type thing. (Rowe) jumped back into the picture because she wanted money." Sources say that Rowe first received money right after the birth of the children, with Michael paying her $8 million, plus $900,000 for five years. Then in 2001 when Michael was accused of child molestation, she resurfaced to reclaim her parental rights, only to be paid off again, this time for $4 million plus a $900,000 home. This time will allegedly be the last time. "This takes away any rights she has to challenge custody at any given time," said the source. "If something happens to Katherine, (Rowe) can't challenge the next (guardian), whether that be Diana Ross or someone in the family." A lawyer for Rowe tells Entertainment Tonight the story is "absolutely untrue." Adds the lawyer, "Ms. Rowe has not accepted -- and will not accept -- any additional financial consideration beyond the spousal support she and Michael Jackson personally agreed to several years ago."
