THE LATEST LOHAN DRAMA!
Michael Lohan is such a caring father that he tried to make money off his daughter Lindsay's misery. (Is anyone surprised by this?) The New York Post reports that Michael demanded $100,000 from media outlets for voicemail recordings from and about his daughter. The Post claims that Michael was turned down by everyone, and finally agreed to release them to Radaronline for free, although they did pay him for a subsequent interview. The latest audio tape is a discussion between Michael and Lindsay's one-time assistant Jenni Muro, in which Muro said she was worried that Lindsay was killing herself. "I am trying to save your daughter's life every day," Muro, who stopped working for Lindsay in February, told Michael. She was so worried Lindsay would harm herself that she told Michael she wanted to quit "because I don't want it on my watch." Muro is also heard saying that Lindsay's relationship with Samantha Ronson was "unhealthy," calling the DJ Lindsay's "absolute addiction." Muro told TMZ that Michael releasing the tape is an invasion of her privacy, calling his actions, "way beyond low." Not surprising, Michael took to his Twitter account to defend himself, denying he got paid, claiming it was legal for him to tape the conversations and saying he'll stop when Lindsay goes to rehab. And in final Lindsay news...The 23-year-old actress was caught crying after a night out at L.A.'s Crow Bar on Friday. Paparazzi caught the depressed-looking Lindsay leaving the club at 2:30 am.
