Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys now admits the group was having a little fun with Trace Adkins on the last show of "The Celebrity Apprentice." Carter tells "The Tennessean" newspaper that they were surprised when people took them seriously when they gave Trace the difficult tasks of finding wheatgrass juice and black nail polish. He says, quote, "It was all in the good spirit of the show. We liked Trace and thought it would be great to have some fun with him and add more excitement to the final challenge." While Trace ended up the favorite "Celebrity Apprentice" contender, the title went to his competition, Piers Morgan.
