Mindy McCready reportedly had an ongoing affair over a ten-year period with baseball star Roger Clemens. According to the "New York Daily News," the alleged affair began when Clemens played for the Boston Red Sox, and she was only 15. It was just before she hit it big as a singer, and Clemens was a 28-year-old married man with two children. Clemens' attorney, Rusty Hardin, has confirmed the two had a relationship, but denied it was of a sexual nature. McCready isn't challenging the New York Daily News story that said she had a relationship with Roger Clemens as a teen-ager. "I cannot refute anything in the story," McCready told the Daily News in a story posted on its Web site Monday. "I have known Roger Clemens for a long time," she said, without detailing the nature of their relationship.

McCready has suffered through a number of personal problems over the past few years, including legal issues. She is reportedly working on a comeback, including recording a new album in Nashville, a documentary, and a reality show.
