Toby's "Beer For My Horses" Features Character Named "Skunk"
When the main character for a movie is named Skunk Tarver, you just know there's got to be a country theme running strong in the script. Such is the case with Toby Keith's movie "Beer For My Horses," which stars Ted Nugent as the movie's hero, Skunk. In his column in the "Waco Tribune-Herald" newspaper, Nugent explains that the lead character sounds vaguely familiar -- he's an "uppity, defiant, long-haired, over-the-top rock 'n roll deputy sheriff who loves bowhunting and guns." Skunk will do whatever it takes to keep his county safe from criminals. Nugent assures it will be worth the price of the movie to see him shoot flaming arrows at corrupt Mexican Federales. Willie Nelson fans also have something to see, as the country veteran will portray a traveling gypsy circus operator. Other actors include Toby and Rodney Carrington. The movie is expected to be released in August or September of this year.
