Carrie first performed on the Opry on June 10th, 2005.

Carrie Underwood officially becomes a member of the Grand Ole Opry tomorrow night. She says the night she was invited to join the Opry cast was an incredible moment. The singer admits that it was very emotional and she cried, but they were what she calls "good, happy tears." Underwood adds that having one of her heroes, Randy Travis, ask her to become a member of the Opry family made the occasion even more perfect. Carrie first performed on the Opry on June 10th, 2005, on one of her very first visits to Nashville after she won "American Idol." She was in the city to perform at the CMA Music Festival. It was before she'd logged her first hit, "Jesus, Take The Wheel," so she sang the Roy Orbison classic "Crying" on the Opry stage that night. Underwood's Opry induction will air on GAC (Brighthouse channel 171) tomorrow night.
