Collin Raye will appear on Live with Regis and Kelly on Friday (5/9). Raye taped an appearance in Las Vegas for the program's 2008 Mom's Dream Come True special.

Brenda Moore of Mena, Arkansas is one of the five women selected to be honored in this annual show. Her daughter Amy Moore Chesley nominated her because this year Brenda lived through something no parent should ever experience - her 20-year-old son Kristofer was killed in a motorcycle accident in October.

Days after his accident he was declared brain dead, and a week later Brenda and her husband decided to take him off of life support and donate his organs. Within that year, Brenda also had lost her mother and father, and even while adding to her losses the tragedy of her child's death, she was able to think about how his death could help other people. Three recipients benefited from the Moores' generous gift.

Collin Raye, who is an Arkansas native, is a Moore family favorite and Amy's parents listened to his music over and over as they grieved. One particular song, his moving hit Love Me, has particular resonance for the family and they engraved a phrase of the song on Kristofer's headstone.
