Special Performances On Sunday's ACMs
Kenny Chesney and George Strait will give the first live collaborative performance of their hit single "Shiftwork,"
The Academy of Country Music has planned some special moments for attendees and television viewers for its 43rd annual Awards show on Sunday. while Kellie Pickler and Taylor Swift will both debut new singles. Pickler plans to sing "Don't You Know You're Beautiful" and Swift will offer up "Should've Said No." Trace Adkins will present his hit "You're Gonna Miss This," which stayed at the top of the country singles chart for six weeks, and LeAnn Rimes will turn in a rendition of the title track to her latest release, "Family." Other performers include Toby Keith, Rodney Atkins, Garth Brooks, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. A number of other country stars, including Clint Black, Sara Evans, Jewel, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Emerson Drive frontman Brad Mates, Randy Owen, Big & Rich's John Rich, Clay Walker, and Trisha Yearwood will make special appearances, while magician Criss Angel and Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw are also expected to take part in the ceremony. The 43rd annual ACM Awards will air live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on CBS.
