Trace Adkins To Return To Persian Gulf
Trace Adkins is planning another visit with U.S. military personnel. The singer is heading back to the Persian Gulf to sing for the men and women who are stationed there. Trace will also take time to visit with as many people as possible, signing autographs and posing for photos. Adkins will travel to remote forward operating bases, stopping to share personal accounts of how he started out in the music industry. Trace says, quote, "I am really humbled by the opportunity to spend more time with our nation's finest." He adds that it is an honor for him to tell the men and women how much they are appreciated for all the sacrifices they make for our country and our freedom. Adkins has supported the USO and the military for a long time. Last year he received the USO Merit Award for his continuous dedication to supporting the troops and assisting others. In addition, he headlined the USO World Gala in Washington, DC, and traveled to the Persian Gulf region on a USO tour in 2002. In 2005, Trace honored the men and women who serve in the military with "Arlington," a poignant ballad featured on his double-platinum CD, "Songs About Me." advertisement
