Not so with Kenny, who thinks it's just rude when people try to take advantage of their celebrity status. He may be a huge star, but as far as he's concerned, being a celebrity and giving his all as an entertainer is something he's proud to do on stage, but when the show's over, Kenny says, "I try to leave that guy up there."

Kenny Chesney may be a celebrity, but he's not out to throw his weight around to get the star treatment. "There's an old joke that says, you know, I haven't changed, everybody's just changed around me (laughs), you know, but I really don't feel that famous. And especially when I'm off stage. I get reminded of it a lot that I am (laughs), but I truly try to leave...I think the thing that I'm most proud of is that when I go on stage, I give it everything that I've possibly got, but when I leave it, I try to leave that guy up there. I don't try to bring that guy with me to other places. Like, I will not let somebody call a restaurant and say, 'I have Kenny Chesney comin'. Can we get a table? I know you're full; I know you're busy, but can we get in?' It's just...I hate that. It's rude. And I just won't let people do that for me."
