Mercury Nashville recording artist BillyCurrington will perform on CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman" Wed., Aug. 19. Currington's single "People Are Crazy" tops the charts this week, marking his fourth #1 and fastest-rising single of his career.

"Crazy" is the second #1 from Currington's album Little Bit Of Everything, which is at #10 on Billboard's Current Country Albums Chart and in the Top 40 on the Top 200. Album sales have been on the rise for 11 of the last 13 weeks and "Crazy" skyrocketed to the top, taking only 19 weeks to best the list.

Currington's other hits include "Walk A Little Straighter," "I Got A Feelin'," and his other three #1s - "Must Be Doin' Something Right," "Good Directions," and "Don't." He was also featured on "Party For Two," the smash hit from Shania Twain.
