Tickets for the first five weekends of Garth Brooks concerts at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas have sold out.Tickets for his 20 confirmed concert performances went on sale on Saturday, October 24 at 8 a.m. and were completely sold by 1 p.m.

The Wynn Las Vegas Web sites and phones were inundated with traffic for concert tickets this morning. The resort phone lines were able to accommodate 141,934 calls before the system reached maximum capacity and callers received a busy signal. Over the course of the morning, the Web site received more than 5.4 million page views with up to 40,000 people waiting in an online queue at any given time. Every effort was made to ensure the systems were operating at peak and processes will be examined to ensure improved performance when future concerts are placed on sale.
