The singer notes that while the show is very touching, witnessing the construction project in person is an incredibly powerful experience. Pickler took part in a build over the summer for the family of a wheelchair-bound Ohio man, who is a champion athlete and a mentor to veterans left disabled after serving in Iraq. The singer was involved in several phases of the project, including demolishing the old home and constructing the new dwelling. Pickler also performed as part of the home's reveal. Her "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" episode is scheduled to air on ABC on Sunday.
