The 43rd Annual CMA Awards show was great! Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood returned for their second year as hosts and they did NOT disappoint! Brad is one of the funniest people we know and he was in top form. Carrie was much more relaxed and comfortable on stage. It was funny and respectful. Little Jimmy Dickens is HYSTERICAL! What a great guy.
Here are a few quick notes :

Upset of the night: Lady A breaking the hold Rascal Flatts has had on the Group of the Year award for 6 years.
Performance of the night: Tie between Zac Brown Band and Vince Gill with Daughtry,
Goosebumps moment: When George Strait walked out and joined Martina McBride singing "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool" in honor of Barbara Mandrel. Wow.
Swoon moment: Charles Kelly of Lady A....when he sings "It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now" . (Click here if you need to see what I mean!)
Disappointed moment: Jason Aldean's performance. It was blah. Flat. So not him, wonder if he is sick. If you have never seen Jason live, ignore last night because he is usually awesome!
Green with envy moment: A picture is worth a thousand words. Ah to look like this, to have this talent and to be standing right there. Yep, I want to be her.

I just love George Strait the man does not change and I love his new album except for the last song :(
The show was great and Little Jimmy is soooooooooooo cute. That was a great moment and it seems like we all got a laugh out of it! Now lets not mention that jerks name again!!! I sure do wish we had more country entertainment....it is the BEST... God Bless everyone.

Taylor is cute, quite personable. Voice is mediocre. Keith's was so reminiscent. Loved Kix and Ronnie!

Loved this year's show
I thought this year's show was great! I love being able to see so many of my favorite performers all in one place at the same time.

Entertainer of the year
I think it was rigged...Taylor Swift doesn't deserve it ...and 2 have her TWICE!!??...come on once is enough...why not have her once and a up and comin sing..like Eric CHurch or Luke Bryan

Disappointed
I was very disappointed that Taylor Swift won so may awards. If you listen to her sing, it's not good at all. I'd much rather have seen ANY of the other TALENTED artists win. I believe that if it weren't for the whole "Kanye incident," none of this would have happened. It's very disappointing to a fan of country music.

I also wish the Zac Brown Band would have won an award. They are fantastic and I loved their version of the Devil Went Down to Georgia.

Also, I <3 Carrie and Brad even more after last night. They were wonderful!

Miranda and Zac Brown Band
Miranda was great and I am sad she didn't walk away with something. Her Music is very inspiring and she is just real! Zac Brown Band KILLED IT! They Rocked and put on the BEST Performance of the NIGHT!

He was so great! Love that song! And how adorable are he and Nicole. It was a great show. Thanks for the photos.
