Taylor Swift Caught in Lawsuit

from The Boot.com
If any press is good press, then a little sports bar in the middle of Idaho is probably pretty busy today. TMZ is reporting that music publishing company BMI has filed a lawsuit against the Sports Cellar, claiming the bar has been playing music -- including some of Taylor Swift's recent hits -- without paying the proper licensing fees.
According to TMZ, a lawyer connected to the case deployed an "agent" from BMI to go on a recon mission to the bar last year to do some undercover work. They did indeed find out that music was being played without going through the proper channels to obtain the rights to be playing it.
Taylor's camp has reportedly gotten on board with the lawsuit and is suing the bar for unspecified damages.
