The performance created so much excitement that Kellie's record company rushed to get the song out to radio stations - and Kellie's thrilled that her fans are now getting to hear it. She loves the song's message that reminds you to believe in yourself and hold onto your self-esteem, especially in the image-driven society that we live in. "Everyone is so special and beautiful in their own way," she says, adding that everyone sometimes needs some affirmation in their life. "We constantly compare ourselves to other people and other things and want what we don't have," she says. "[But] everyone is so special and beautiful in their own way. It's great to be different. It's what makes you unique." "Don't You Know You're Beautiful" is the first single from Kellie's second album, planned for release later this year.

Kellie believes her new song, "Don't You Know You're Beautiful," offers an important message in today's society. "Everybody needs to be complimented. Everyone needs to be told that they're loved, and everyone needs to be shown affection and told that they're beautiful. Because I think in today's society, especially women, and as well as men, we suffer with such low self-esteem, and we constantly compare ourselves to other people and other things and want what we don't have, and that's just human nature. So it's nice to really get a message out there that it's not about all those things, you know? And everyone is so special and beautiful in their own way, you know, it's great to be different. It's okay. It's what makes you unique, and it makes you an individual."
