Snoop Dogg says Johnny Cash was an American gangsta. When visiting Nashville for the CMT Music Awards, Snoop Dogg said that Cash's music touched him, and that's why he dedicates his new song and video, "My Medicine," to the Man in Black. Snoop asked Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, and Julianne Hough to join him on his first country endeavor. Some of the scenes are from Nashville, others from London, where Snoop and Willie hooked up for their portion of the video.

What others are saying

  • Disgrace!
I think that this song or "tribute" as Snoop Dogg puts it, is an absolute disgrace to the country music genre. Just like when he changed rap music for the worse, he is out to do the same thing for us. I have country playing in all of my vehicles because it is the only genre I dont have to worry about filtering. Now that Snoop is here... there is nothing left!
  • Personally, I don't like the song at all!
