Kenny Chesney is rubbing shoulders with some star athletes this week. Yesterday morning Chesney was at Milsap College in Jackson, Mississippi throwing a few passes with New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. This is the second year the singer has made an appearance at the Saints practice field to get in a little football with the likes of running back Reggie Bush and tight end Jeremy Shockey. Chesney hung out with the players, running about a dozen plays including a successful post and a wide receiver reverse. He also caught a 45-yard punt. Kenny says it's a lot of fun for him to participate in the team practice because sports were an important part of his life when he was growing up in East Tennessee. He says he was not a candidate to play college ball so, quote, "This is about the most fun I can have." He compares it to when he invites football players on stage to sing "Back Where I Come From," explaining, quote, "Sometimes just having the moment to feel what it's like to do it is the greatest feeling in the world."
