MLB Player shows for a Blake Shelton No. 1 song bash
Not often you see Major League Baseball's all-time homerun champ in Nashville.
Not even once, in fact. But Barry Bonds indeed showed for the No. 1 party for Blake Shelton's hit, She Wouldn't Be Gone, March 13, 2009, at BMI. Turns out Barry is longtime family friends with one of the song's writers, Jennifer Adan. This is Bonds' first visit to Nashville. "We went driving down Music Row, and everything," Barry told me. "I like it. It's cool. Too bad Elvis' house is two hours away. I'd go check it out." advertisement
