Jason Aldean's current hit continues to log accomplishments. In addition to becoming the singer's second number one hit, "She's Country" has been certified Gold for racking up more than 500-thousand digital downloads. Aldean admits the song was special to his latest CD. He explains that "She's Country" became the anchor for his album "Wide Open."

"She's Country" is the first single from "Wide Open," which hit stores last month. Aldean has been busy promoting the album, both on the road and on TV. He'll continue his efforts with a taping of "CMT Crossroads" today. The country star will share the stage with rocker Bryan Adams, swapping stories and songs before an invitation-only show in Nashville. The show will make its debut on CMT on June 26th. After the "Crossroads" taping Aldean will return to the road. He'll be heading to New York City for a show Wednesday at B.B. King's Blues Club.
