It was about 10 years ago while living in Connecticut that my eldest son Daniel, (who suffers from Aspberger's) and his younger brother Carlos, and I built our own Disney World in the living room. We have never been to the actual park, but we all dressed up as different characters and had the time of our lives. The living room furniture became the rides, I was Mickey Mouse and the boys were Chip & Dale. It was amazing to see how much the kids loved our family trip to Disney. Every now and then they will still pretend our living is Disney world and play with their younger brothers.....

My favorite Disney memory has to be one of my earliest memories from childhood. Riding the Dumbo ride with my dad!!! I can't believe I can still remember it but I guess it was times like these that imprint in your mind the most. I remember my dad letting me "take the controls" in choosing on going up or down. Of course, I went as far up as possible and for a child I might as well have been up in the clouds. My dad never was a big fan of roller coasters or rides that went too fast. So this was our ride we could enjoy together. Just daddy and me.

My favorite Disney memory was when my husband and I took our children to Disney over the holidays a couple of years ago. We were standing outside on the main street looking at all the decorations when it started to snow. Our children had never seen snow before and they were so so excited! Where else but Disney can provide a white Christmas to Floridians without even leaving the state. Our children still talk about the time it snowed at Disney.

Back in 1982 my mother and father were enjoying an evening at the Magic Kingdom. They lived close so this was something that they did often. My mother was 8 1/2 months pregnant with me. Well I guess I just got way too excited and decided I wanted to join the fun! She went into labor in the park. If it wasn't for the ambulance getting there when it did I would have been born in the Magic Kingdom Park!

Jessica Cabrera - I recently took my daughters to Disney. My 4 year olds room is decorated with the Disney Princesses. She has a miniature Cinderella's castle in her room. When we walked up to the castle at Disney, her jaw dropped! She walked up to the castle and kept saying "I can't believe the castle is real", "I can't believe the castle is real". She was amazed and excited. It was wonderful to share that moment with her.

Monisha Seth - My husband and I were engaged at Disney World on Christmas Eve almost seventeen years ago. We were in college and I was hoping one of the little boxes under the tree had an engagement ring in it. We opened our presents Christmas Eve but there was no ring. I was quite disappointed but then he suggested we go see the lights at Disney. We parked at contemporary and got on the monorail (which was almost empty since the parks were closed). As we pulled in front of Cinderellas castle, my now husband got on one knee and proposed! We've been married for thirteen years and Disney (especially around the holidays) will always be a special place for us!

Jimmy Barnett - 13 years ago I had the privilege to perform in the candlelight processional at Epcot as a member of the Edgewater High School Concert Chorus. It was so neat singing with such a massive choir with teenagers from around the United States. It took months of preparation but it was well worth it. We sang thirteen songs including the Hallelujah Chorus .two shows a night holding a flashlight that looked like a candle still for a couple hours at a time but every minute was worth it! This was one of the highlights of my life and Im forever grateful I had the opportunity to participate.

Heather McGrath - My granddad had come to visit from Maryland to see my daughter (his great-granddaughter) when she was about a year and a half old. He wanted to be the first one to take her to Disney. I'm a single mother and could have never afforded it so was thrilled with the idea... So we went and had the best day ever. Its funny how that place really is the "happiest place on earth". He went back for Maryland and sadly had a heart attack shortly after. Last night I watched the videotape of one of our last days together.... To hear his voice, see his face ... All I could do was cry and think how thankful I am that we shared that day at Disney together.

Jennifer Flanigan - My favorite Disney memory is from when my father took me to Disney, I was 7 years old, and he bought me a pair of ears with my name on them. I still have them, that was 30 years ago!

Peggy Jean McGowan - My favorite Disney memory is the time my oldest daughter brought her two girls to Disney for their Christmas present. It was chilly and full of excitement, love, lights and fun. It was magical to watch their faces! The girls drank more hot cocoa than I thought their little bodies could hold....and on the drive home they fell asleep with smiles on their faces!!
