I could have sworn that Doc said that David Cook has not been successful and made fun of him for performing right before some dumb act on one of the New Year's shows. Someone had to do it! If it wasn't him, it was going to be another artist. That's how those shows work. <br> David's video for "Light On" went to #1 on VH1's countdown just a few weeks after it debuted, his album is now #16 in the nation but peaked at #3 before this week and "Light On" is #37 this week and peaked at 17. Not to shabby. I had to double check billboard.com for some of this information. :-)
