K92FM's Music Director Shadow's Concert Review

It's been six years since Tim and Faith toured - in fact, the very last show on the original Soul 2 Soul tour was at the TD Waterhouse...that makes it fitting that country's hottest couple would return. With a mammoth stage running nearly one end to the other, it would have been easy for the theatrics to upstage the music. Luckily, that didn't happen. The show opened with Tim and Faith together on "Like We Never Loved At All" and the show's momentum grew from there. It's hard to compare two very different acts - even when they performed a number of songs together. Faith showcased her incredible vocal range on many occasions, perhaps best displayed on songs like "This Kiss" and "Cry", with the latter down acoustically. Tim's stage presence continues to be one of his strongest assets as he impressed from start to finish. With all the hits he's delivered over the last decade, it must be tough to decide which ones to leave out, but ultimately he didn't disappoint. The show was billed as the concert of the year and it certainly lived up to the hype.
