On the heels of capturing his first #1 single with the sultry "Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right," Billy received further kudos today when the R.I.A.A. (Recording Industry Association of America) announced the Gold Certification (sales exceeding ½ million) of his sophomore album Doin' Somethin' Right. "I guess I've already accomplished my New Year's resolution!" an ecstatic Currington said with a laugh when told of the news while vacationing on the beach. "I'm looking forward to getting back on the road and celebrating this with the fans." Look for Billy's performance of "Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right" Monday, January 9 on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
