Brooks & Dunn Open the NBA Finals
The NBA Finals finally include cowboy flavor deep in the heart of Texas as Country music stars Brooks & Dunn perform the National Anthem. This is the first Game 7 in an NBA Finals since 1994, when the Houston Rockets defeated the New York Knicks. And Brooks & Dunn are the closest thing Finals fans around the nation and the globe will come to Texas-style entertainment during this series. In Game 1 in San Antonio, Canadian-born Alanis Morissette performed the National Anthem. During half-time of Game 2, also in San Antonio, another Canadian, Bryan Adams, performed. Back in Detroit, both Stevie Wonder and Kid Rock performed the National Anthem. In Brooks & Dunn, fans got one of country music's most popular and successful recording and touring acts. Three-time Academy of Country Music Entertainers of the Year, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn have notched 22 No. 1 singles.
