Faith Hill's New Album Fireflies
Faith Hill's "Fireflies," her first studio album since 2002's "Cry," will arrive Aug. 2 via Warner Bros. First single "Mississippi Girl," which was co-written by Big & Rich's John Rich, is No. 8 this week on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart and No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100. "Fireflies" finds Hill teamed with longtime production collaborators Byron Gallimore and Dann Huff on 15 tracks, including "Like We Never Loved at All," opener "Sunshine & Summertime," "Good Ole USA" and "Stealing Kisses." Hill's husband Tim McGraw guests on an as-yet-unidentified song. Also included is a cover of "I'm Not Lisa," a big hit in 1975 for Jessi Colter that topped Billboard's country singles chart and reached No. 4 on the Hot 100. Hill has begun lining up TV appearances in advance of "Fireflies," including Aug. 2 on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" and Aug. 4 on "Today." She and McGraw will also perform at the Rome edition of the July 2 Live 8 concerts.
