Keith Urban to Record a POLKA Album?!?!?!?Keith Urban won the video of the year trophy at the 2006 CMT Music Awards on Monday night (April 10) in Nashville, but he probably didn't party too hard. "We're actually going in the studio at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning," he explained. Asked about what kind of music to expect, he joked, "A polka album." When the laughter died down, he added, "I hope it's just about strong songs. A lot of records are just really about songs. ... At the same time, I like to get into the studio and see what happens. Take a few songs in and let it just flow." Urban said his next radio single will be from his upcoming album, although no release date has been set for either the album or the single. cmt.com
