Kenny Chesney's new video, "Who You'd Be Today," will be premeired today (Sept. 29) on CMT's Top Twenty Countdown. Written by Bill Luther and Aimee Mayo, it's the first single from Chesney's new album, The Road and the Radio, set for release on Nov. 8. The video was directed by Shaun Silva, who previously worked with Chesney on the videos for "Young," "Big Star," "There Goes My Life" and "Anything but Mine." Top Twenty Countdown airs at 4:30 p.m. ET/PT. Kenny Chesney's first single from his upcoming "The Road and The Radio" has begun scaling the charts, and some fans are already wondering if he's singing about anyone in particular. Kenny says the words definitely bring to mind a couple of friends who are no longer around - "I wonder what their lives would be like." One of the song's writers, Aimee Mayo, came up with the idea for the song when she ran into someone who reminded her of a friend who'd died in his early 20s. "I just sat and stared," she admits. "I kept thinking how unfair it was that he (her friend) died so young." "The Road and The Radio" arrives in stores November 8th.
