The popular country music trio has recently gone double-platinum — selling 2 million copies of its album, "Feels Like Today" — an unusual feat for a country music act. The band performed its hits "Fast Cars and Freedom," "Bless the Broken Road" and "Here's To You."
Rascal Flatts appeared on "GMA" on the heels of its Wednesday night debut on "American Idol." The group sang its No. 1 hit "Bless the Broken Road" with "Idol" winner Carrie Underwood.
Earlier in the season, the group members saw Underwood perform the song and they called her personally to let her know how impressed they were with her rendition. Underwood asked the group to appear with her on the show. The group members say they did everything they could to enhance Underwood's performance and help crown her the new "American Idol." from abcnews.com/gma
