Below are links to the video that played before the Rascal Flatts concert on Saturday night in Nashville. Rascal Flatts donated proceeds from the concert to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. In all, $600,000 was donated to the Children's Hospital making it the largest fund-raising event ever for the hospital. The sum included a donation from Rascal Flatts of $350,000 from concert proceeds and a $250,000 donation from our generous parent, The Walt Disney Company. Rascal Flatts visited the Hospital and read books for approximately 30 children and their families in the Children's Theater. The kids were also treated to visits by several Disney characters- Cinderella, Mickey & Minnie, Snow White and Dopey. After the reading, Gary, Jay & Joe Don visited with each of the children in the party and then spent a couple of hours visiting patients who were not well enough to attend.
