Would You Vote For Him?Country music supercouple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill may be leaving the concert arena for the political arena.
McGraw, a Democrat, tells the issue of Esquire magazine hitting stands Monday that he wants to be governor of Tennessee, USA Today reported Friday.
"I think it's something I'd do well," McGraw said. "I just think as governor of the state, there would be a lot more opportunities to make some decisions and change some things."
McGraw told Time magazine two years ago he wanted to seek Tennessee's seat in the U.S. Senate when he turns 50, USA Today noted.
McGraw, 38, and Hill, 38, have three daughters, ages 8, 7 and 4. In the Esquire interview he says he will wait for his daughters to grow up before launching his gubernatorial run -- maybe in 10 or 15 years.
