Toby Keith has seen his latest release White Trash With Money race past gold status in only its first few weeks of release. And while that success has been propelled by the smash first single "Get Drunk And Be Somebody," there's no telling where sales will go when fans hear the song Keith considers the album's impact single -- "A Little Too Late."

Recently released to radio, "A Little Too Late" is also the subject of an imaginative video by award winning director Michael Salomon. The clip premieres this Thursday, May 11 on CMT's Top 20 Countdown at 3:00PM eastern and is slated for immediate Hot Shot rotation. It will make its internet debut on Friday, May 12th on CMT.com.

The video embraces dark comedy as Keith descends into a dank cellar and begins, brick by brick, to wall in his love interest as he sings his song to her. Played by accomplished actress Krista Allen (Shut Up And Kiss Me! and Anger Management, among scores of roles), the female lead remains captive as the singer completes his barricade. Or does she?

Inside scoop!!! The female in Toby's video is George Clooney's longtime girlfriend). A source on the set of Toby's new video says that Allen was called in at the last minute to play his love interest. "Las Vegas" starlet VANESSA MARCIL had to pull out because of personal interests and asked Allen to fill in because, well, she's from Texas. One hitch? Rumor has it that Allen ended up wearing her own clothes because Ms. Marcil is a wee bit teenier than the already teeny-weeny Allen.

As for Keith, who calls the new release "the song on the album that jumps out at me," 2006 is already shaping up as a career year. Having launched and staffed his own label, Show Dog Nashville, he has taken full control of his music and the results speak for themselves.

White Trash With Money opened at a pace on par with the best-selling album of his career, 2002's Unleashed. His Ford Truck-sponsored Hookin' Up & Hangin' Out Tour kicks off June 23 in Manhatten, KS on the way to more than 60 dates nationwide. Tour Dates
