More about Toby's little friend...
Trevor is a Make a Wish kid and his wish was to meet Toby. When he went through the Meet & Greet line before the show, he asked Toby something, privately, in his ear. Toby said yes. Toby then told his road manager to make sure Trevor was on stage for the encore. The show went on and as usual, Toby put on an amazing show! At the end of the show, during the encore, Toby invited Trevor on stage to sing "American Soldier". It's was so amazing...this little 10 year old kid walked out on stage with all the swagger and confidence of a professional...he then proceeded to belt out the song so well that Toby just let him sing it. At the last part of the song – Trevor gestured to Toby like "hey, it's okay – you can sing with me if you want". None of the band knew that was going to happen! They said they couldn't even look at each other or they were going to lose it. It was an inspiring moment that showed the true value of music, and what a difference a superstar can make to not only that one sweet boy, but to a whole audience. Source: DreamWorks Records
