Blake Shelton's New Release
Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill will be in stores today. The eleven-song collection features the smash 'tongue and cheek' "Some Beach" and the stellar performance of the Conway Twitty song "Goodbye Time." Legendary songwriter and longtime collaborator Bobby Braddock produces the album. Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill Tour is currently hitting coast -to- coast. In addition to the anticipated album, fans have the chance to purchase a collection of his videos, featuring "The Baby", "Ol' Red," and the current self-deprecating video "Some Beach" on October 12th, Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill: A Video Collection. "I want this album to create a place," says Shelton. "I want it to create a bar or an old café and I want listeners to go there when they listen to it. People need to feel good, just relax and cry and go through lots of emotions and have it all culminate in a good overall feeling," he continues. The collection of 11 songs capturing lost loves and an uncertain future provides listeners with far more than a jukebox of drinking tunes. Instead, it plays out more like a series of conversations in a small town diner or neighborhood bar. "I am a country singer," Shelton states proudly. And this place, Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill is a place he envisioned as he garnered tunes from Nashville's prolific field of songwriters such as Harley Allen, Roger Murrah, Paul Overstreet, Bobby Braddock, as well as Shelton and others.
