Blake Shelton Goes #1!
Christmas has come early for Blake, as he celebrates his third number #1 single "Some Beach" on both the Billboard Top Country Singles chart and the Radio & Records. Overjoyed by the news of this newest milestone Blake's response was simply, "#*@& YEAH!" He's the singer of such country hits as "Austin," "Ol' Red," and "The Baby" but he's also a man who loves the land. Blake Shelton is from Oklahoma but he's put down roots in Tennessee. Blake's 400-acre farm has beauty, charm, and some big challenges. He's a hunter, so he called on the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency to advise him about improving his property to attract big and small game. Wild Side Guide Craig Morgan, no stranger to country tunes himself, took cameras on a tour of Blake's farm with TWRA Wildlife Manager George Buttrey. George offered Blake some important tips about land improvement and conservation. Blake tells us he's going to spend as much time as he can on his farm when he's not on the road with his busy tour schedule.
