Dolly Parton Shows Up at Reba's!
In "Reba's Rules of Real Estate," the Friday, April 15, episode of The WB's comedy "Reba," Dolly Parton guest-stars as Dolly Majors, a major Houston real-estate agent who shows up unexpectedly at Reba's (Reba McEntire) house to interview her for a possible job. Although the show features two top country singers, Parton says there was only one instance where they raised their voices in song. "The director, his son was having a birthday, a grown son," Parton says, "and we were called into somebody's office. He asked if we'd sing 'Happy Birthday.' We'd never sung together in our lives. We couldn't believe that we hadn't."So we started singing 'Happy Birthday,' and I'm sure we had enough licks and twists and turns in it that it didn't sound like the same song. But with all our Dolly and Reba licks, I told her, 'We licked that song to death, didn't we?'"
