Tim McGraw Buys Into Football Team
The Nashville Kats announced Monday that country music star Tim McGraw has become a minority owner for the Arena Football League team. Titans owner Bud Adams remains the majority owner of the team. Mark Bloom, Larry Papel and Larry Scott are also minority owners. The Kats resume Arena Football play Jan. 28 after going dormant for three seasons. They play their home opener Feb. 4. McGraw announced he will play a concert at a January date to be announced that will be for Kats season-ticket holders only. The Kats currently have sold about 3,500 season tickets.
