Toby Keith and Ted Nuggent joined the cadre of USO celebrity entertainers who continue to be morale boosters for our service men and women last month. The entertainment tours add a "touch of home" through music, laughter and personal outreach to the troops stationed overseas. Nearly 12,000 volunteers and 600 employees dedicate their time and talents to serving the troops at 118 locations around the world. About 7,000 people from military communities in Germany attended the concert. Many communities offered free bus transportation to the site. Before the concert, hundreds of people had their photos taken with Keith and Nugent. In an effort to get all of the people in line in during the hourlong photo opportunity, groups of at least 10 people were rushed through. The photos were then posted on the MWR website for families back in the US to see.
