When Toby Keith visited a military hospital at Landstuhl, Germany recently, he met and had his picture taken with a wounded soldier named Sergeant Gary Jackson, from Colchester, MA. Sergeant Jackson has since been moved to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in the U.S., but recently told the USO that having his picture taken with Toby got his picture in his local newspaper before his family knew his condition. "The extra added benefit of having met Toby Keith, is that when my friends and family members saw the picture of us in the newspaper, they knew that I was OK," said Sgt. Jackson.
